18 July 20: Kokedama Workshop

Kokedama are Japanese moss balls made with assorted house plants. They can be displayed suspended, balanced or in a bowl. Learn the principles of kokedama making, display and plant care in our fully guided class to make and bring home moss balls.


Workshop covers the following hands-on topics:

  • Kokedama making, display and maintenance

  • Basics of indoor plant care

Fee:

  • RM70 per pax inclusive making 2 kokedama

  • Group bookings (2 or more) and return students get 10% discount

Provided:

  • Assorted easy care plants (philodendron, syngonium, fittonia, pothos, etc.)

  • Wrapping moss

  • Assorted string

  • Tripod stick display

  • Detailed guidance, use of workshop tools

Ages 10 and up, maximum 8 pax per class. Photos for reference, similar plants and materials subject to availability. Safety SOPs apply as follows:

  • Please arrive 15mins before class starts for temperature screening and check in

  • Participants with fever, heavy sneezing or coughing are not allowed inside the premise. If feeling unwell please call ahead to reschedule

  • Everyone in the premise to wear own masks throughout the duration of workshop

  • Participants seated at a minimum of 1.2m from each other

  • Hand sanitizer is available for use
